Shira Shimoni, an East Coaster gone West, manages a team of Customer Success Managers at a software company. 2 years ago, she discovered a lump on her groin during a business trip to London. After a few doctor appointments, biopsies and a surgery; she was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma, an incurable but treatable cancer. She tackled her cancer like a work task and became a project manager of her own health all the while working full time and working out.
Shira completed her last chemo treatment early April and has received the all clear from her latest scan. She's focused on slowing down, enjoying life and maintaining optimal health. |
